Women Ministries
Women Ministries exists to equip women to serve God through serving others. Programs of this ministry include:
Common Threads: This program includes prayer shawl ministries, knitted stocking caps and mittens for mission projects as well as personal projects. Meets second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Church library.
Weekly Bible Study: Meets throughout the school year on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. in the West Room.
Rip ‘N Roll: Rolls bandages for use in overseas mission work. Meets first Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in the Church Library. Participants bring a lunch and eat together.
Quilting Group: This group meets to make quilts for new babies in our congregation as well as Cornerstone and newborns in hospitals. Meets third Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in the Church library.
Card Ministry: This group meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Church library to honor and care for our Church family.
Apples of Gold: Meets at various times. Older women nurture younger women in the Word of God and to encourage them to obey the Word. They also demonstrate practical applications such as cooking, relational, and homemaking skills as well as sharing hospitality with others.
Other involvement opportunities include Human Trafficking, ministry to the homeless, and cookies for Bethany Covenant Home. For contact information, call the Church office at 952-831-8339.
