Parish Nurse Ministry

A Parish Nurse cares for the body, mind and soul. Our Parish Nurse ministers to the entire congregation for education, care, advocacy, monthly blood pressure screenings, visitation to hospitals, nursing facilities and individual homes.

The Parish Nurse meets weekly with the church staff to communicate the needs in the congregation and to pray for these needs. The work done by the Parish Nurse is confidential.

The Parish Nurse is a registered nurse licensed in Minnesota, has graduated from the Parish Nurse program from Concordia College and has a certificate in Faith and Health ministry from North Park Theological Seminary.
